Danish Architecture Center (DAC)

Danish Architecture Center (DAC) is an international cultural attraction for everyone who wants to experience and understand how architecture and design create the framework for our lives. DAC is located in the heart of Copenhagen with a beautiful view overlooking the Copenhagen harbor.

The experience

At Danish Architecture Center you can experience a wide range of exhibitions, tours, events, and family workshops.

Born out of a wish to engage more people in architecture, DAC wants to spark the conversation about architecture and how it can help solve some of our growing global challenges such as the climate crisis. This is shown in our temporary exhibitions, that change several times every year and explore modern architecture from many angles. From new trends like sustainable and space architecture to the overall story of the world-famous Danish architecture.

Fun activities for all ages

Be sure to visit permanent installations such as the 40-meter long DAC-slide and the VR- installation. We Dare You.

Café and Shop

In the DAC Café you can relax and enjoy a great cup of coffee or Nordic dishes prepared with local ingredients. The café has an outdoor terrace offering a stunning view over the Copenhagen harbor and medieval city center. Also make a stop at the design shop where you can find a well-curated selection of design books, posters, accessories as well as handpicked gems of great Danish design.

An attraction for all

Danish Architecture Center is for all ages and levels of interest in architecture. Children and adults, locals and tourists. Architectural nerds and curious beginners - DAC is a place for all.

Read more on the DAC website and remember to download the free DAC app that offers articles and guides to architecture in Copenhagen to explore on your own.
