Explore the daily life of working-class families throughout the past 150 years. Feel the presence of past times in the workers’ assembly hall from 1879 and get glimpses of the lives of workers and the struggles that gradually improved their living conditions in the exhibition "We Are the Workers”. Step into the world of the Hansen family in the 1950s, a time marked by scarcity. Let your children experience life of the 1930’s working class youth by working at the brewery, delivering groceries, or dressing up. And find the Children's Backyard through small apartments and steep stairs.

Try a favorite of the time in the coffee bar - chicory coffee and a hedgehog slice - or enjoy a traditional Danish lunch at Café & Ølhalle.
